Educare is the UK's leading provider of essential duty of care and safeguarding training. I spoke to Educare representative Josie Eames, who told me more about the courses the organisation offer to raise awareness of mental health in sport.
Educare offer a wide variety of courses to help keep children, young people and adults safe from harm, and currently have over 2,000 courses completed every day. Over four million people, in a variety of different sectors, have learnt how to fulfil their duty of care on EduCare courses.
Josie told me a little more about Educare's crucial role in helping sportsmen and women with their mental wellbeing, and admitted that the issue of keeping players satisfied is crucial: "Player welfare is becoming increasingly important and our customers are keen to ensure they protect both the physical and mental health of participants."
